I'm using winxp, NTFS file system on all drives.
I use the save command to save my variables 'specifically a neural network' to a .mat file.
The problem is, I can't see or access my file except using matlab.
It's totally invisible to windows, I can't write it to disk, I can't e-mail it, can't even see it in windows explorer, tried showing system and hidden files, tried Dir/a on CMD, but no use.

How can I resolve this problem so that I can backup and e-mail my .mat files?
